Recognizing Puja Committees adopting environmentally sustainable practices: eco-friendly pandals (biodegradable/recyclable materials), natural clay & non-toxic idols, zero plastic/thermocol, and energy-efficient lighting.
Recognizing 100% waste collection, source segregation of wet/dry waste with colour-coded bins, daily ULB waste lifting coordination, and litter-free surroundings throughout the festival.
Creative promotion of Government flagship urban schemes (Swachh Bharat, NAMASTE, PMAY, DAY-NULM, water conservation, plastic-free living, climate resilience) through theme pandals, interactive exhibitions, Chau dance, and street plays.
Active citizen engagement via Wall of Commitment, plantation/seed-ball drives, awareness quizzes/competitions, DAY-NULM SHG stalls, "Know Your Sanitation Hero" corners, and inclusive PwD/senior citizen ramps.
